On August 12, 2016, the National Key Research and Development Program of China (973) “Theories and Methods for Fine Processing and Spatial Information Intelligent Conversion of High-Resolution Remote Sensing Data ”, undertook by Wuhan University, Southwest Jiaotong University, Shanghai Jiaotong University , Xi'an Institute of Optics and Precision Mechanics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Remote Sensing Applications, Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chinese Academy of Surveying & Mapping, has passed the conclusion acceptance in Wuhan.
As the principal investigator of the project“Information Measure and Quality Improvement of High Resolution Remote Sensing Images”, which is one research subject of the major program composed of six subjects, Prof. Zhilin Li presented the overall achievements of the project since 2012 firstly, and then gave detailed introductions to five aspects, i.e., research level and innovation, implementation effects of the project, talent development, cooperation and exchange, and data sharing.
After experts’ conscientious discussion, they came to an agreement that the project led by Prof. Li had been completed with high quality. They finally approved of accepting the project unanimously, and recommended the research achievement of the research subject “Theories and Methods of Platform Vibration Detection and Compensation” as one of the highlights for the entire program.
