The meeting of the Working Group on Geospatial Information and Services for Disasters (WG-Disasters) was conducted on Wednesday, May 20, 2020. The meeting took more than 2 hours and discussed the tasks of groups on disasters and Strategic Framework Assessment. Saeid (Adam) Pirasteh from the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering (FGEE) represented the Southwest Jiaotong University in this meeting. Southwest Jiaotong University (SWJTU) is a member of the Academic Network of United Nations-Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM).
The WG-Disasters took in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic and shared strengthening regional cooperation in geospatial data sharing for mitigation of COVID-19 pandemic.
灾害地理空间信息及服务工作组（WG-Disasters）于2020年5月20日星期三举行会议。会议耗时2个多小时，研究讨论了灾害和战略框架评估小组的任务。西南交通大学（SWJTU）是联合国全球地理空间信息管理（UN-GGIM）学术网络的成员。地球科学与环境工程学院（FGEE）的Saeid（Adam）Pirasteh教授代表西南交通大学参加了此次会议。
