The meeting of the Virtual High-Level Forum Events on United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management was conducted on three days (Tuesday, May 26, 2020, Tuesday, June 2, 2020, and Tuesday, June 9, 2020), May 20, 2020.
The three main events were conducted successfully:
(1) The geospatial landscape, and overview of integrated geospatial information framework and future trends in geospatial information management
(2) Integrated geospatial information framework, the nine strategic pathways and country-level action plans
(3) Future trends in geospatial information management: Five to ten-year vision, the relevance and application to national priorities and action plans
Saeid (Adam) Pirasteh from the Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering (FGEE) represented the Southwest Jiaotong University in this meeting. Southwest Jiatong University (SWJTU) is a member of the Academic Network of United Nations-Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM).
