Recently, Associate Professor Yin Gaofei was invited by Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society (GRSS) for a three-year appointment as the deputy editor-in-chief of IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Letters (IEEE GRSL), an authoritative SCI journal in the field of remote sensing.
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is the world’s largest non-profit technical professional society. IEEE GRSL, a famous academic journal of IEEE in the field of remote sensing and earth science, mainly publishes new theories, new concepts and new methods in the form of short essays. The Journal is of Impact Factor 3.83, categorized as JCR-1 and CAS-2.
Associate Professor Yin will be responsible for the journal's articles in the field of vegetation remote-sensing. In recent years, he has been devoted to vegetation remote-sensing study, and published 46 SCI papers, including 14 papers of IEEE series. Relying on the internationalization strategy of the university and our school, Associate Professor Yin has made great contributions to international academic exchanges and cooperation in recent years, and won the honorary title of Mary Curie Scholar of the European Union. It is reported that he is China’s first young scholar in the field of remote sensing to win this title.
