The Fire Protection Engineering Experimental Center was established in 2005 and has set up the Xipu Campus Experimental Center and the SWJTU-OSU Emei Campus Experimental Center.Fire Protection Engineering Experimental Center has 10 laboratories involving fire combustion laboratory, fire theory and engineering laboratory, fire extinguishing technology laboratory, etc. The building area of Fire Protection Engineering Experimental Center is about 1800 square meters, with various types of experimental instruments more than 150 sets such as large-scale precision instrument smoke analyzer, differential heat analyzer, paving material radiation test equipment and other instruments. The equipment total value is more than 12 million CNY. The Fire Protection Engineering Experimental Center undertakes various teaching and scientific research tasks for undergraduates and graduate students in fire protection engineering major and safety engineering major of collaborative program. The Fire Protection Engineering Experimental Center offers a total of 10 experimental courses for undergraduates, more than 100 validation-type, innovative and integrated design-oriented experimental projects, as well as SRTP and personalized experimental projects.
