Research Interests:

My research has focused on Zircon geochronology, Low-temperature thermochronology (Apatite/zircon Fission Track),volcanic petrogenesis (the Mesozoic -Cenozoic volcanic rocks especially the red beds basalt in north and south sides of Dabie Mountains). Recently I have focused on the genesis and mechanics of special rock and soil from the perspective of fine and microstructure, such as red bed soft rock, Weak swelling rock, Chengdu sandy cobble, etc. I also do some research on adapting remote sensing methods to identify rocks and structures, especially on the Sichuan-Tibet railway survey.
