Research Interests

Recently, my research has mainly focused on the following aspects:①Treatment and resource of agricultural and forestry waste. Agricultural and forestry waste are an important type of biomass resource which has the features like abundance, low cost and renewability. It is very significant to exploit their diverse utilization or treat them via some environmentally friendly approach.②Preparation and application of biosorbents. My group has fabricated several biosorbents including magnetic activated carbon, Amino-functionalized strawand cellulose aerogel. They were satisfactorily used to remove heavy metal ions and dyes.③Analysis of trace pollutants. By using the functionalized materials obtained in our laboratory, we hope to develop some high sensitivity and selectivity methods for the detection of trace pollutants in environmental media.
