Research Interests:

I have been engaged in the stability analysis of the ancient landslides and the motional characteristics of high-speed rockslides in the Sichuan-tibet region.

My current interests are

(1) the fragmentation mechanism and motional behavior of rockfalls, and

(2) the tribological characteristics of the sliding plane of a high-speed rockslides.

The first topic aims at establishing a collision fragmentation model for predicting the runout of brittle fragmentable rockfalls. The second theme will improve our understanding on how the rockslide appear high speed and apply a mitigation guide for rockslides.
