Research Interests:

Professor Dingfa Huang’s research interests cover Satellite Navigation and Geodesy, he is the director of Center for Satellite Navigation (CSN), Faculty of Geosciences and Environmental Engineering. The research team adhered to GNSS research for decades, Proposed the Network Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) positioning theory based on VRS & Web computing, and launched the so-called "VRS Enhanced Network Utility System/VENUS" to support high-precision network RTK services. Then network RTK is further extended to central differential location-based service (LBS), and ground base (GBAS) enhancement and LBS cloud service technology are proposed. Based on the location-based cloud service platform, a group of research and development talents has been cultivated.
