Research Interests:

My research has focused on the theoretical research and engineering practice of major engineering hazards and prevention in the field of geological engineering, geotechnical engineering, disaster prevention and mitigation works and protective works. Recently I have focused to conduct a multidiscipline study to learn the pregnant environments and disaster-inducing modes of rock avalanches with their engineering geological models built, to explain the emplacement mechanism of rock avalanche under different geological environment,and to reveal the dynamic mechanism of rock avalanche on the Tibetan Plateau, China.
