Research Interests

My research has mainly focused on theexploring the novel green and efficient flame-retardant materials, developing the high performance fire safety polymeric materials in the fields of aviation, automotive industry, construction. Through the research on fire behavior of epoxy resin and polyurethane foam cushion for aviation and railway transportation, new flame-retardant materials are prepared by new nano flame-retardant approaches, layer-by-layer assembly, sol-gel technique. At the same time, the flame retardant and degradation mechanism are also studied.
