Research Interests:
My research has mainly focused on the dynamic interaction process between rapid mass movements (e.g. rockfall and debris flow) with protective structures (e.g. barrier and rock shed). I also focus on the discrete element method (DEM) and granular mechanics. Recently, I have focused to reconstruct irregular rock boulders and investigate the impact of debris flow containing large boulders onto rigid barrier.
