主讲人简介：陈武教授，香港理工大学土地测量与地理资讯学系教授，曾任全球华人GPS协会主席。1982年毕业于中国科技大学物理系，1992年在英国纽卡斯尔大学测量系获博士学位，1992年-2000年在英国诺丁汉大学工程测量和空间大地测量研究所工作。研究兴趣包含GNSS智能交通、GNSS动态定位、GNSS系统集成、GNSS性能评估、无线传感网定位、机载Lidar应用、虚拟现实与增强等。多年来在国内外发表学术论文200余篇。

讲座内容简介：GNSS technology has been widely used for positioning, navigation, and timing, from ground to space. The positioning accuracy has been increased from 100 m to millimetre level.  Various augmentations systems have also been developed to enhance the capability of GNSS for navigation, particularly integrity. On the other hand, many different applications using GNSS signals have been developed. This presentation will review the development of GNSS technologies and particular, stress on non-positioning related applications, such as GNSS atmosphere remote sensing, GNSS-SAR, and etc.. Based on the discussion, multiple function GNSS systems will proposed for the next generation of GNSS to fulfil much wider applications of satellite technologies.
